Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga will support your health and well-being on many different levels throughout your pregnancy, and is an excellent way to nourish yourself and your growing baby. Yoga has been scientifically proven to decrease the duration, discomforts and complications of labour and it is an ideal preparatory exercise for labour and birth because it combines the building of strength with the opportunity to relax and let go. During classes you will have time to practise useful skills for birthing such as active-birthing movements, breathing techniques, vocal toning, visualisation and guided meditation/relaxation. Receive expert guidance on how to connect with your body, your breath and your ability to let go. Nurture your intuitive wisdom and inner strength, No experience is necessary and women usually join around 14 weeks after having the 12 week medical check.

MONDAYS 6-7PM + WEDNESDAYS 6-7PM. Session pricing: $22 per person.

Couples Prenatal Yoga

Our Prenatal Yoga for Couples Yoga Class welcomes expecting mums, partners and support people. Your partner or friend will learn how to support you during your pregnancy and in consciously birthing your baby. In this class we practise yoga together, learn active birthing techniques, partner supported birthing movements, breathing techniques, acupressure, partner massage and guided meditation/relaxation. It’s a very practical hands-on class and provides time to bond and work together on learning skills that will help you to be more empowered in birth. Women are also welcome on their own. No experience is necessary and women usually join around 14 weeks after having the 12 week medical check.

WEDNESDAYS 7:15-8:15PM. Session pricing: $22 (1 person) or $40 (2 people).
